“Restful, relaxing and idyllic setting. Towns nearby reflect “the real Austria”, not touristy. Our room was a bit too warm so we used the fan quite a lot. The pathway up to the restaurant and down to the town needs some work. Wifi was inconsistent. But…the view and feeling of the peace in this place will never be forgotten. ”
“Modern, crisp mountain chalet. Both breakfast and dinner in the restaurant were quality. It’s away from the noise and traffic of town and near hiking areas.”

“I can’t recommend Hallstatt Hideaway enough! I arrived early and was able to keep my luggage with staff and checked in later. I had the most beautiful spacious room with a view of the lake that was breathtaking! Staff were so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was amazing delivered to my room with so many options. Hotel is steps away from the market and main shops and dining. I will definitely stay here again! ”
“A great place to stay with stunning views. There's a bus stop at the entrance so it's easy to get to Dachstein Krippenstein and Hallstatt.
There's also a wharf close by with two transport options.
The mini-market in the resort is well stocked with plenty of options for self-catering.

“It was such a nice and pretty hotel in an incredible location, I ended up extending my stay five days longer that planned The receptionists, the housekeeping team , the restaurant staff were all so helpful . The pool and sauna were nice and most of al the access to the trains and buses to explore the whole area . Bad Ischl was the perfect base . Hotel is next door to Kaiser Villa , so convenient, and to the supermarket too .

“Great Castle Hotel with nice courtyard and amazing breakfast buffet. Helpful staff. We stayed in a nice large suite with 2 stories, one for each bedroom and bathroom and kids absolutely loved it
Not too many dining options late in the evening so need to drive out of Mondsee for that but otherwise decent restaurants just minutes away.”

“Also ein gutes Frühstück ist für mich am wichtigsten und da kann man sich in diesem Hotel nicht beschweren, auf Nachfrage wurde mir sogar mein geliebtes Omelett zubereitet. Die Auswahl an Speisen und Getränken zum Frühstück ist umfangreich genug, frisch und aus der Region. Das Einzige, was ich vermisst habe, sind Crossaints zum Frühstück, aber dafür gab es frische Waffeln, also auch nicht schlecht.

"Soggiorno piacevole ma assolutamente non all’altezza del nome, delle stelle e quanto promesso. Il personale spesso fatica a parlare inglese, inconcepibile per un resort di questo livello. La mezza pensione prevede arrivo al ristorante tra le 6 e le 7, pena sentirsi dire, quando si arriva alle 7.01 (giuro!) “you are late”"
